What is the Digital Tax Stamp Program ?

The BIR is introducing the ‘Digital Tax Stamp Program – a Government initiative aiming at protecting consumers and promoting local production by putting strong security measures against illicit trade.

The program includes:
• Registration of every manufacturer, importer, distributor, agent or trader dealing in any of the gazetted goods on the portal
• Affixing of Digital Tax Stamps onto all gazetted goods
• Enforcement of the program by authorities
• Empowerment of consumers to verify product authenticity.
